Planter Installation

A client hired me to add a modern look to the entrance of their home. The space was very white and plain, an alcove of white brick and brown tile.

They did not want to make any permanent modifications to the space but wanted a large change to make the area more visually appealing while being low maintenance.

Utilizing the architecture and space, I installed modern wood and steel planters on either side of the walking path.

I fabricated the planter frame of mild steel, mostly for the look the client sought. To keep the material low maintenance, I coated the interior with enamel and the outside with an acrylic coating. Some spots were left only lightly coated to allow for some rust and patina over time.
